Rain Showers, Bald Heads, and Greasy Ecstasy.

The last week or two I’ve been doing a monumental amount of drinking. Most of it has been with my best-est Kelly and her Jeff.

A particular scenario took place last night, although it didn’t end in its usual debauchery, as I would have liked.
I was in Montello for most of the day visiting and carousing about the “grounds.” (I like to refer to my house at the “grounds” because for some reason that has so much more meaning and potential to be dangerous and scary!) And When 8:00 came around, I was watching the newest episode of The Office on DVR, and got a phone right when Dwight was conning Michael into letting him have control of the office. Kelly was on the other line sounding a little out of breath, perhaps just getting done having sexy times. I would only assume and hope that was the case, because whenever I think of her, I think of her and Jeff doing the naughty nasty.
“What are you doing right now?” She says, and I already know what she’s going to ask.
“I’m in Montello rightnow!!” With a hint of desperation and sadness in my voice. (Even though I wasn’t all that sad I was in Montello. It was just because I rather do what Kelly was about to ask me to do.
“Oh, well I was wondering when you’ll be back. Jeff wants to go out tonight, and I want you to come out too!”
As soon as she said this, I had already packed up my gigantic purse with my makeup and planner, heading out the door.
“Oh, I’ll be in Point in about an hour, fancy that! Where should I meet you!”
“Cedar haus!” She says with a squeal of excitement.

So with a quick peck on the face, and hug, I leave my family in the dust, and head out on the trail to get my drink on.
As I was driving down the interstate it started sprinkling a bit, and I waited for a nice coat of rain to get on the windshield so I didn’t have a giant smear of dirt and dead bugs. As I had suspected, this did nothing to help, so when I turned on the wipers, I heard SHMEEERRR, and all I saw was a line of dirt spanning the whole windshield. As I went further, the windshield got better, but the rain started hitting harder, and vehicles started to slow down.
There was a point where it got so bad that going 60 was pushing it to a dangerous limit. Of course with my luck a giant semi-truck was taking its sweet time down the interstate, so naturally, I merged to the left to pass it up. What a mistake that was. The force of the rain coming off of the gigantic tires sprayed across my windshield leaving me blind, and susceptible to any type of mishaps that may be coming my way. I wasn’t sure whether I should be speeding up to get away from the truck or slow down to stick behind the truck with a fine spray of lethal accident coming my way.
I decided to speed up a bit and pass the truck, when al of the sudden the truck started merging into my lane, and I instantly thought to myself, “This is going to end terribly, and the last thing I said/messaged to someone was, ’sorry, I won’t txt you again’”. I started flicking my brights and the truck then merged back into the right lane, and disaster was averted when I sped up a little bit and got the fuck away from the truck.

I had finally arrived in Point, and pulled into the parking lot of the Cedar Haus. I casually walked into the bar to a whole three people (It being a Tuesday night, I really hadn’t expected anything more). I see Kelly, her Jeff, and this gigantically tall person with a big fuzzy red beard, and a partially bald head. I instantly knew it was Kelly’s friend, whom I do not mesh well with. Needless to say the whole night he jabbered and talked and jabbered, and soon it got to a point where I was pounding drinks and shots to numb out his voice. After a couple of hours, and a few rounds of pool, we decided it was time to get the hell out of dodge and ditch the redhead. We all came in one car, so we needed to “drop him off at home” first, then we would all “go home and go to bed” since we all had school or work in the morning.
What we did instead? We went to Southpoint and decided to have a hearty, greasy, and most satisfying meal. I thought the night wasn’t over, and that we would go back out and party it up, but since it was nearing 1:00am, I knew I would be one cranky bitch if I got any less sleep then had to go to work for 12 hours.
So I got dropped off, checked my email, etc. and headed to bed.

All in all it was a good night, and I only wished I had more time to spend with the lovely K and J.
